It's not a lie...
...turns out you really DO have to scrub the deck...!
I've scraped and scrubbed, Kieran's filled and sanded, and with much tender loving care and a whole heap of funny rubber paint our rough old boat (currently sandwiched between 2 posh plastic Catamaran's making us the gypsy's of the boat yard) is starting to look pretty snazzy....

And so we begin
I arrived in NZ just 1 week ago and made the speedy transition from reluctant PA to ferocious trucker...After a quick dip in the sea Kieran wasted no time in putting me to work and by the end of the 2nd day we had scrubbed, primed and painted Lilly's sexy bottom and I was immensely proud of my grubby feet and 3 new blisters, not to mention Lilly's new look
